Gun warfare in Belize City is no stranger to the media. Making headlines in crime news is EVERALD GRAY, 23yrs, of #3254 North Creek, Belize City who was seen with three apparent gunshot wounds to the left shoulder, right upper shoulder and left hand in the KHMH.

In as little as two days, Police have been able to make 3 drug busts in three places. The first was on August 13th when several Police officers were conducting vehicle patrol on the Western Highway, Santa Elena Town.

In addition to the drug busts, police have also been busy catching the perpetrators of criminal acts.

A two storey structure was seen engulfed in flames, yesterday August 14 at about 6:18pm, on Victor Street, Benque Viejo Town.

On 14 August at 6:20am, Police visited Mosquito Coast Area, San Pedro Town where on arrival the body of a Hispanic male person was seen and was taken to the Medical Clinic where a doctor pronounced the person dead on arrival.

The Ministry of Labour, Local Government and Rural Development today (Aug 14) held the Inaugural Meeting of the new Tripartite Body and presented its members. The meeting took place at the George Price Center here in Belmopan City.
